The New Student Record is a publication that helps freshman find their way around campus and Blacksburg. It includes students' photos, hometowns, high schools, and other essential information about the wealth of services, organizations, and activities and events University Unions and Student Activities offers, as well as campus history, athletics, residential life and much more! The NSR is the source for freshmen and new students to get to know their classmates and put a name to a face.

The New Student Record is published by the Bugle, the yearbook at Virginia Tech, with the help from University Unions and Student Activities.

History

The Bugle has been helping to publish the New Student Record for at least the last twenty years. Throughout those years, there have been a variety of different sponsors, including, the Alumni Association, Office of Fraternities and Sororities, and the current sponsor, University Unions and Student Activities.
